21st Century Learning Initiative: Born to Learn animation

Born to Learn – First animation now online

We are pleased to announce that the first animation in the series Born to Learn is now online at our new campaign website http://www.born-to-learn.org. While the full website will not be available until the end of the month, we couldn’t wait to post the video to Youtube and start to build up a head of steam! We will notify everybody again when the website goes live.

Obviously we are keen that this animation gains as much exposure as possible as we believe that in something under 5 minutes this touches upon so many of the key issues in our book, Overschooled but Undereducated.

As you share this with colleagues, do please feed back to us critical responses that will help us shape the nature of subsequent videos.

Right from the start we worked on the principle that such important issues as these needed to be portrayed in a way that was both fun, and fascinating: we hope we have done this and that the message “don’t waste our adolescence” begins to resound from the mountain tops (of British Colombia , the Black Mountains, the Himalayas, the Cotswolds, the Grampians and the Pennines, as well as the rest of the world!)

The video is now on Youtube and Vimeo. Join us on Facebook and Twitter to keep up-to-date with the Born to Learn campaign. This is exciting as we watch how quickly it is disseminated:
