The OpenEYE 2010 Conference.
The 2010 OpenEYE conference is bringing together some really
inspiring speakers, all of whom are concerned about policy-making
in the early years.
Professor Kathy Hirsh-Pasek – Stanley and Debra Lefkowitz Professor
in the Department of Psychology at Temple University, where she serves
as Director of the Infant Language Laboratory and was the recipient of the
Great Teacher and the Eberman Research Awards.
Professor Lillian Katz – Internationally renowned for her work on early
childhood Dr. Katz is currently Principal Investigator for the Illinois Early
Learning Project and lectures and consults around the world.
Dr Aric Sigman –psychologist, author and world authority on the impact
of electronic media on society
Dr Sebastian Suggate – New Zealand researcher now based at the
University of Würzburg in Germany. His work on the later impact of early
reading has created widespread interest and challenges current UK policy.
The Conference will close with an OpenEYE Panel discussion
