Following the publication of the Rose Review in April 2009 the government has announced plans to reform the primary curriculum. This session will look at:
· How radical is the review?
· What will it mean for what happens in (and out of) the primary classroom?
· Will we still have to teach to the test?
Chris Waterman (co-editor of Education Journal and editor of Children’s Services Weekly) will be joining us to discus the issues and to help delegates crystalise their response to the government’s consultation, which ends 5pm Friday, 24 July 2009.
